Sam W. Irby Elected as 143rd President of the Alabama State Bar
Irby & Heard, P.C. is pleased to announce that Sam W. Irby has been elected as the 143rd President of the Alabama State Bar.
The Alabama State Bar is composed of over 18,000 members. Sam will serve his term as President of the Alabama State Bar from June 2018 through June 2019. Sam is a lifelong resident of Fairhope and has practiced law as a small firm practitioner in Fairhope since 1972.
From 2011 to 2017, Sam served as an Alabama State Bar Commissioner representing the 28th Judicial Circuit (Baldwin County). Sam also served as Chair of the Solo and Small Firm Section of the Alabama State Bar. He is a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.

Sam W. Irby is currently serving as President-Elect of the Alabama State Bar. He will assume office as President of the Alabama State Bar in June 2018 for the 2018-2019 term.
